Beloved Victors In Christ,
We live in an age where everything is fast-paced and light speed. So often we are drowned with information and lost with numerous distractions around us. We get drawn into many wants and we have very little time for anything. We become so occupied with making right our lives that we lose sight of our lives. We carry our heavy burdens with our outward strength, but our inner strength is unreplenished. More than ever, we are exposed to news that drives fear in and peace away. Unconsciously, our spirit runs dry.
We create time for every need, but not for the One we need most. Sometimes, just sometimes, we forget about the One above. The One that loves us unconditionally.
The bible says.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. – Matthew 11:28 – NIV
Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest. – Mark 6:31 – NIV
In repentance and rest you shall be salvation, in quietness and trust shall be your strength. – Isaiah 30:15 – NIV
